Alex Ross’s article in the New Yorker, “The Composers of Quiet,” is a beautifully considered and written introduction to the Wandelweiser network. (The print version will come out next week.) Suddenly my best friend wants to hear Continuum Unbound, and another friend writes, “I want to run away to wherever this is going on.” I’ve just posted a resource guide that should be helpful in finding and hearing more, and there are several relevant guides in the works.

So the timing is excellent for ErstDist’s late summer sale: “you select 7 items, and you pay for 5, with the cheapest two of your choices being free.” This is by far the major distributor in the US for these recordings.
